NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (as on 1st July 2021) :   

A candidate can apply for Assistant Manager (RDBS/Rajbhasha) under only one option from among the options given at in Table-1. It is clarified that candidate applying for Asst. Manager (RDBS)- General cannot apply for another discipline and vice versa. Similarly,  candidates applying for Asst.  Manager (Rajbhasha) can not apply for Asst. Manager (RDBS) and vice versa. 

The candidate can apply only for ONE Post/Discipline of his /her choice. In case of multiple applications across or within disciplines for Grade A (RDBS), only the last application submitted will be considered valid and fee against all other applications will be forfeited.

Bachelors Degree in a particular discipline means that the candidate must have studied that discipline as main subject in all the semesters / years of respective degree course and it must be mentioned in the Degree Certificate issued by the University/Institute.

A) Educational Qualification (as on 01-07-2021):   

Assistant Manager in Grade A (RURAL DEVELOPMENT BANKING SERVICE) ( RDBS)  

i)  General : Bachelors Degree in any subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 55%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree, MBA/PGDM with a minimum of 55% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 50%) in aggregate or CA/ CS/ICWA or Ph.D from Institutions recognized by GOI/UGC.

ii) Agriculture: Bachelors Degree in Agriculture with 60% marks (ST/PWBD applicants -55%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Agriculture / Agriculture (Soil Science/Agronomy) with a minimum of 55% marks (ST/PWBD applicants -50%) in aggregate from a recognised University / Institution

iii) Agriculture Engineering: Bachelors Degree in Agriculture Engineering with 60% marks (SC/PWBD applicants -55%) in aggregate or Post graduate degree in Agriculture Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks (SC/PWBD applicants -50%) in aggregate from a recognised University / Institution.

iv) Animal Husbandry: Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Sciences / Animal Husbandry from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/PWBD applicants -55%) in aggregate OR Post Graduate degree in Veterinary Sciences / Animal Husbandry with a minimum of 55% marks (SC/PWBD applicants -50%) in aggregate.

v) Fisheries: Bachelors degree in Fisheries Science from a recognized University/Institution with 60% marks (SC/PWBD applicants 55%) in aggregate OR Post graduate degree in Fisheries Science with 55% marks (SC/PWBD applicants 50%) in aggregate.

vi) Forestry: Bachelors degree in Forestry from a recognized University/Institution with 60% marks (SC/PWBD applicants -55%) in aggregate OR Post graduate degree in Forestry with 55% marks (SC/PWBD applicants -50%) in aggregate.

vii) Plantation/Horticulture: Bachelors Degree in Horticulture from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/PWBD applicants -55%) in aggregate OR Post Graduate degree in Horticulture with a minimum of 55% marks (SC/PWBD applicants -50%) in aggregate.

viii) Land Development-Soil Science: Bachelors Degree in Agriculture / Agriculture (Soil Science/Agronomy) with 60% marks (PWBD applicants -55%) in aggregate OR Post Graduate degree in Agriculture / Agriculture (Soil Science/Agronomy) with a minimum of 55% marks (PWBD applicants -50%) in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution.

ix) Water Resources: Bachelors degree in Hydrology/Applied Hydrology or Geology/Applied Geology with Hydrogeology /Irrigation /Water Supply & sanitation as one of the subjects with 60% marks (PWBD applicants 55%) in aggregate OR Post Graduate degree in Hydrology/Applied Hydrology or Geology/Applied Geology with Hydrogeology /Irrigation /Water Supply & sanitation as one of the subjects with 55% marks in aggregate (PWBD applicants 50%) from a recognized University.

x) Finance: BBA (Finance/Banking) / BMS (Finance/Banking) with 60% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants -55%) OR Two years full time P.G. Diploma in Management (Finance) / Full time MBA (Finance) degree with 55% (SC/ST/PWBD applicants -50%) from Institutions / Universities recognizedby GoI /UGC with Bachelors Degree in any discipline. Candidates will be required to submit a certificate from Institution/University regarding specialization in finance OR Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis with 60% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants-55%) OR Bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution with Membership of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The Membership of ICAI must have been obtained on or before 01-07-2021 OR CFA.

Xi) Computer and Information Technology: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Technology/ Computer Applications/Information  Technology with 60% marks (SC/PWBD applicants 55%) in aggregate OR a post graduate degree in Computer Science/ Computer Technology/ Computer Applications/Information Technology with 55% marks (SC/PWBD applicants 50%) in aggregate from a recognized university.

Assistant Managerin Grade A (RAJBHASHA):  

(i) Bachelors Degree from a recognized university in English or Hindi medium with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants –55%) or equivalent in aggregate and 

(ii) PG Diploma in Translation (minimum one year) in Hindi to English and vice-versa from any recognized University. Candidates must have studied English and Hindi as subjects in at least 02 years of bachelors degree course.  

OR Masters Degree in HINDI with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (SC/ST/PWBD applicants –55%). Candidates must have studied English as main/ elective subject in at least 02 years of bachelors degree course.

OR Masters Degree in ENGLISH with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (SC/ST/PWBD applicants –55%). Candidates must have studied Hindi as main/elective subject in at least 02 years of bachelors degree course.

Candidates must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice/versa.

NOTE : All educational qualifications should have been obtained from Universities / Institutions incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as  a University under Section –3 of UGC Act 1956 

NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A AGE (as on 01-07-2021) :

The candidate must be between 21 and 30 years of age as on 01-07-2021, i.e., the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-07-1991 and not later than 01-07-2000

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit: Upper age limit may be relaxed by

a. 03 years in case of eligible OBC applicants

b. a maximum of 05 years in case of : (i) Applicants belonging to SC/ST , if the posts are  reserved for them (ii) Ex-servicemen

c. 10 years for PWBD (General); 13 years for PWBD (OBC) and 15 years for PWBD (SC/ST) applicants. 

NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A EMOLUMENTS AND SERVICE CONDITIONS 

i. Pay Scale: Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.28150/- p.m. in the scale of 28150-1550(4) -34350-1750(7) – 46600 –EB - 1750(4) 53600-2000(1)-55600 applicable to Officers in Grade A and they will be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time.
At present, initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately Rs.70,000/.

ii. Perquisites : Banks accommodation subject to availability, reimbursement of expenses for maintenance of vehicle for official purpose, newspaper, internet, telephone charges, book grant, allowance for furnishing of residence, etc. as per eligibility.    

NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A SELECTION PROCEDURE:

Assistant Manager Grade A :

The Assistant Manager in Grade A selection will be in three Phases as furnished below :

NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A Phase I – Preliminary Examination (Online Exam) Objective Type : MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) carrying 200 marks.

Duration : 120 Minutes Composite Time

i) Test of Reasoning – - 20 questions - 20 marks

ii) English Language – - 30 questions - 30 marks

iii) Computer Knowledge – 20 questions - 20 marks

iv) General Awareness – 20 questions - 20 marks

v) Quantitative Aptitude – 20 questions - 20 marks

vi) Decision Making - 10 questions - 10 marks

vi) Economic & Social Issues (with focus on Rural India) – 40 questions - 40 marks

vii) Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India) - 40 questions- 40 marks

i) Qualifying Section -Test of Reasoning, English Language, Computer Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Decision Making

ii) Merit Section -General Awareness, Eco & Soc. Issues (with focus on Rural India), Agriculture & Rural Development with Emphasis on Rural India.

iii) Shortlisting of the candidates for the Main exam will be based on marks scored in the Merit section only.

NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A Phase II – Main Examination will be online and will be a mix of MCQ and descriptive pattern.
NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A Phase III – Interview - Applicants qualifying in the Phase-II Examination and securing sufficiently high rank in merit shall be short-listed for interview.

NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A Examination Centres :

1. The examination will be conducted online in venues given in the respective call letters. Kindly check your centre for the examination as the same may have been changed due to official convenience.
2. No request for change of centre/venue/date/session for Examination shall be entertained.
3. NABARD also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for.
4. Candidate will appear for the examination at the Examination Centre at his/her owns risks and expenses and NABARD will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature.
5. Choice of centre once exercised by the candidate will be final.

HOW TO APPLY NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A Application Form: Eligible applicants are required to apply online through website www.nabard.org
No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.
Candidates can apply online only from 17 July 2021 to 07 August 2021 and no other mode of application will be accepted.
The NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A application form should be filled in English only. Option for the use of Hindi language will be available for the Online/Main Examination/ Interview.

Candidates to go to the Banks website www.nabard.org/career, click on the option APPLY ONLINE NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A which will open a new screen.

To register application, choose the tab Click here for New Registration and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will be sent at the given email ID and mobile number.

 

NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A APPLICATION FEE (NON-REFUNDABLE) :

For SC/ ST/ PWBD :  Application Fee- NIL, Intimation charges etc.- Rs.150/- Total- Rs.150/-

For all others: Application Fee- Rs.650/-, Intimation charges etc.- Rs.150/- Total- Rs.800/-

All NABARD employees satisfying the educational qualification criteria would be eligible to apply. They will be required to pay fee/intimation charges as indicated above at the time of online application, which will be reimbursed on submission of fee receipt only to those employees of NABARD (Staff Candidates) who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the post. The status as staff candidate will be verified at the time of interview.

MODE OF PAYMENT OF NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A APPLICATION FEE : The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
Payment can be made by using only Master/Visa/Rupay Debit or Credit Cards or Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash cards/Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen.
