ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (as on 1st MAY 2019) : 
A candidate can apply for Assistant Manager (RDBS) in Grade A under only one discipline. 
It is clarified that candidate applying for
Assistant Manager (RDBS) - General cannot apply for another discipline viz., Animal Husbandry/ Environment / Economics, etc., and vice a versa.

A) Educational Qualification
(as on
1st MAY 2019) :

Assistant Manager (RDBS) Grade A

i)  General : Bachelors Degree in any subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate or Ph.D.
OR
Chartered Accountant /Cost Accountant / Company Secretary with Bachelors degree
OR
Two year full time P.G. Diploma in Management / full time MBA degree from Institutions recognized by GOI / UGC with Bachelors Degree in any discipline.

ii) Animal Husbandry /Dairy Technology : Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Sciences / Animal Husbandry/ Dairy Technology from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks (ST/PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Veterinary  Sciences / Animal Husbandry/Dairy Technology with a minimum of 50% marks (ST/PWBD applicants-45%) in aggregate.

iii) Economics / Agricultural Economics : Bachelors Degree with Economics/Agriculture Economics with 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Economics/Agriculture Economics with a minimum of 50% marks(SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate from a recognized  university.  Candidates  with Economics  as one of the main subjects at all years/semesters of the course,  will only be eligible. 

iv) Environment : Bachelors degree with Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering as a subject with  50%  marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate or Post graduate degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science with 50% marks(SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate from a recognized University/Institution.

v) Food Processing : Bachelors degree/ BE / B.Tech.in Food Processing  /Food Technology with 50% marks(SC/PWBDapplicants - 45%) in aggregate  or Post graduate degree in Food Processing /Food Technology with 50%  marks(SC/PWBD applicants - 45%)in aggregate from a recognized University/Institution.

vi) Forestry : Bachelors degree in Forestry from a recognized University/Institution with 50% marks (ST/PWBD applicants-45%) in aggregate or Post graduate degree in Forestry with 50% marks(ST/PWBD applicants-45%) in aggregate.

vii) Finance : BBA (Finance/Banking) / BMS (Finance/Banking) with 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 45%)
OR
Two years full time P.G. Diploma in Management (Finance) / Fulltime MBA (Finance) degree from Institutions / Universities recognised by GoI/UGC
OR
Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis with 50% marks(SC/ST/PWBD applicants-45%)OR Chartered Accountant with Bachelors degree (The Membership of ICAI must have been obtained on or before 01-05-2019)

viii) Land Development – Soil Science : Bachelors Degree in Agriculture / Agriculture (Soil Science/Agronomy) with 50% marks (SC/PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate or Post  Graduate degree in Agriculture / Agriculture (Soil Science/Agronomy) with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/PWBD applicants-45%) in aggregate from a recognised University / Institution.

ix) Plantation and Horticulture : Bachelors Degree in Horticulture from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks (PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate or Post  Graduate  degree  in Horticulture     with a minimum of 50% marks (PWBD applicants-45%) in aggregate.

NOTE : All educational qualifications should have been obtained from Universities / Institutions incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutionse stablished by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as  a University under Section –3 of UGC Act 19
 

Manager (RDBS) Grade B - General Bachelors Degree in any subject from any  recognized  University with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants 55%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks(SC/ST/PWBD applicants 50%)in aggregate from a recognized university or Ph.D.

NOTE : The candidate must possess the required educational qualification as on 01st May 2019. The  result of final term /semester/year examination of the required educational qualification must have been declared on or before 01st May 2019. In other words, candidates whose final year/semester results have been declared on or after 02nd May 2019 are not eligible to apply.
Bachelors Degree in a particular discipline means that the candidate must have studied that discipline as main subject in all the semesters / years of respective degree course and it must be mentioned in the Degree Certificate issued by the University/Institute.




AGE (as on 01-05-2019) :

Assistant Manager Grade A :

The  candidate must be between 21 and 30 years of age as on 01-05-2019, i.e., the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-05-1989 and not later than 01-05-1998.

Manager Grade B :

The candidate must have attained the age of 21yrs and must not have attained the age of 35 years as on 01-05-2019, i.e., the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-05-1984 and not later than 01-05-1998.

EMOLUMENTS AND SERVICE CONDITIONS
i. Pay Scale: Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.28150/- p.m. in the scale of 28150-1550(4) -34350-1750(7) – 46600 –EB - 1750(4) 53600-2000(1)-55600 applicable to Officers in Grade A and they will be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time.
At present, initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately Rs.61,000/.
ii. Perquisites : Banks accommodation subject to availability, reimbursement of expenses for maintenance of vehicle for official purpose, newspaper, internet, telephone charges, book grant, allowance for furnishing of residence, etc. as per eligibility.
    

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Assistant Manager Grade A  & Manager Grade B :

The selection will be in three Phases as furnished below :
Phase I – Preliminary Examination (Online Exam) Objective Type : MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) carrying 200 marks.
Duration : 120 Minutes Composite Time

i) Test of Reasoning – - 20 questions - 20 marks

ii) English Language – - 40 questions - 40 marks

iii) Computer Knowledge – 20 questions - 20 marks

iv) General Awareness – 20 questions - 20 marks

v) Quantitative Aptitude – 20 questions - 20 marks

vi) Economic & Social Issues (with focus on Rural India) – 40 questions - 40 marks

vii) Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India) - 40 questions- 40 marks
Phase II – Main Examination will be online and will be a mix of MCQ and descriptive pattern.
Phase III – Interview - Applicants qualifying in the Phase-II Examination and securing sufficiently high rank in merit shall be short-listed for interview.

EXAMINATION CENTRES :

1. The examination will be conducted online in venues given in the respective call letters. Kindly check your centre for the examination as the same may have been changed due to official convenience.
2. No request for change of centre/venue/date/session for Examination shall be entertained.
3. NABARD also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for.
4. Candidate will appear for the examination at the Examination Centre at his/her own risks and expenses and NABARD will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature.
5. Choice of centre once exercised by the candidate will be final.

HOW TO APPLY : Eligible applicants are required to apply online through website www.nabard.org
No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.
Candidates can apply online only from 10th May 2019 to 26th May 2019 and no other mode of application will be accepted.
The application form should be filled in English only. Option for the use of Hindi language will be available for the Online/Main Examination/ Interview.

Candidates to go to the Banks website www.nabard.org/career, click on the option APPLY ONLINE which will open a new screen.
To register application, choose the tab Click here for New Registration and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will be sent at the given email ID and mobile number.

All NABARD employees satisfying the educational qualification criteria would be eligible to apply. They will be required to pay fee/intimation charges as indicated above at the time of online application, which will be reimbursed on submission of fee receipt only to those employees of NABARD (Staff Candidates) who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the post. The status as staff candidate will be verified at the time of interview.

MODE OF PAYMENT OF APPLICATION FEE : The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
Payment can be made by using only Master/Visa/Rupay Debit or Credit Cards or Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash cards/Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen.
